Job Description
Summary
The main objective of this position is new business development along with maintaining a high level of contact with acquired customers through regular visits and calls.
Essential functions
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads
- Track all sales activity in the company CRM and keep current by updating account information regularly
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and current customers
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions
- Meet and / or exceed sales quotas
- Local representation at industry association and client events
Work environment
- Remote/Home Office with 50% travel to client sites in the VA, DC, MD, PA and DE regions.
- Workdays are Monday through Friday.
Required qualifications
- 3+ year of experience in Outside Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
- Must have reliable transportation, strong time management and organizational skills.
- Technologically proficient, including e-mail, tablets, smartphones, applications, etc.
- Highly motivated, focused and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, listening, communication, and negotiating skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Base Salary plus Commission
