ABOUT US

ILLA Canna is a rapidly growing vertically integrated cannabis company based in Los Angeles, California. We need motivated and dedicated team members to support the continued growth of our brands and operational capabilities. We grow premium indoor flower in our Los Angeles cultivation facilities, distribute statewide and are in the process of opening a new manufacturing and distribution center in the San Fernando Valley with a state-of-the-art canning facility for cannabis beverage production, a commercial kitchen and non-volatile extraction.

Description of Type of Employment

Responsible for effectively executing overall business market strategy and objectives to execute distribution and sales goals by brand, building and maintaining relationships with cannabis retail accounts, and representing our brands at event promotions and industry events.

Reports to: Northern California Regional Sales Manager

Compensation: $70,000.00 per year, Variable Compensation, Mileage and Cell Phone

Reimbursement.

Territory: Sacramento Sales Area

Manage assignments and workflow, tasks to include:

  • Visit active account(s) on a route with call cadences.
  • Display execution at the retail level with Sulo brand(s) portfolio
  • Merchandising of all portfolio brands in retail accounts
  • Ensure pricing alignment at retail.
  • Execute new brand launches within the designated territory.
  • SKU Inventory management at retail
  • Achieve distribution, display, feature ad, brand promotion, and space management objectives that produce the effective presentation of the brands to the consumer at the point of purchase.
  • Increase brand presence in the marketplace by facilitating promotional and sales events each month.
  • Serve as ambassador and educator of the Sulo Distro brands, culture, and mission.
  • Own accounts receivable within your account base
  • Maintain and strengthen current business partnerships with retail accounts in the designated territory by driving overall portfolio growth.
  • Drive sales by building and establishing new business partnerships with retail accounts, maintaining placement goals and expectations.

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Core competencies: intensity and commitment to task, competitive, assertive, high mission of service, strategic, creative
  • Cannabis Industry relationships must exist.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods Knowledge
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings.
  • Basic computer knowledge, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated

Supplemental Pay: (Salaried Employee Only)

  • Quarterly Bonus pay-outs based on KPI performance

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • Outside sales: 3 years (preferred)
  • 1 year in cannabis is (required)

Work Remotely:

  • YES: Office and home computer set up provided. Weekly office requirement, and remote GPS enabled CRM functions are required.
  • 90% field
  • 5% home office
  • 5% On Site at facility may fluctuate based on business needs
