Position: Sr. Business Development Manager/Sales Manager

Location: This role is based at our office in Wallingford, PA (remote work is not available for this position). Some travel to client sites across the US and Canada is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

This position will play a key role in the company’s growth. The ideal candidate is an energetic, organized, resourceful, self-starter with the experience and skill to lead, coach and manage a sales team and drive business growth. The responsibilities for the Sr. Business Development Manager/Sales Manager position include but are not limited to the following:

1. Develop a deep understanding of EMG’s technology and solutions to effectively communicate with the BDM team and prospective clients.

2. Effectively utilize our CRM system to manage leads and progress them through sales funnel.

3. Ensure that the BDM team consistently and effectively uses the CRM for lead management, providing them with training as needed.

4. Provide ongoing training and one-on-one coaching to the BDM team on the company’s technology and effective sales skills, such as overcoming objections. Identify areas for improvement of the team and each member.

5. Play a critical role in recruiting and onboarding new team members.

6. Take the lead on establishing, communicating, and monitoring the performance of BDM team members through use of Key Performance Indices (KPIs).

7. Regularly communicate sales forecasts, sales results, KPI metrics and other important information to the company leadership team.

8. Take the lead on drafting and presenting technical client proposals and presentations.

9. Travel to various client sites and industry conferences to promote and grow company’s business.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

· Eight (8) years of sales experience, preferable in B2B sales, four (4) of which includes experience managing a sales team.

· Proven success in sales results and team management.

· Ability to quickly learn new software and tools and adapt to new workflows and processes.

· Strong collaboration, oral, and written communication skills.

· Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM proficiency.

Job Type: Full-time in company office with some travel to client sites

Compensation: Salary plus commission

ALL INTERVIEWS ARE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY BETWEEN 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM VIA FaceTime, Zoom, etc.
