We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager I to join our team and drive growth in our client base.

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager I will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive business growth and meet the company’s sales quotas. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of sales experience, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and the ability to effectively utilize CRM and IT software. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, including cold calling, emailing, and direct client visits, as well as the ability to manage, lead, and supervise a sales team to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas set by management.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, and direct visits to potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.

2. Team Leadership and Management:

  • Manage, lead, and supervise the sales team to ensure alignment with company goals and targets.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to team members to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and check-ins with clients to assess their staffing needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

4. Sales Presentations and Proposals:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of Emkat Inc.’s services.
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to develop customized staffing solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable agreements.

5. CRM and Reporting:

  • Utilize CRM software (e.g., Zoominfo, bullhorn Salesforce, or similar) to manage leads, track sales activities, and maintain accurate client records.
  • Generate and analyze sales reports to monitor performance against quotas and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress, team performance, and strategic initiatives.

6. Collaboration and Team Support:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and recruitment, to ensure alignment between sales efforts and overall business objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to share best practices and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages innovation and high performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, preferably in staffing, recruiting, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and developing new business.
  • Proficient in CRM software and IT tools to manage sales processes effectively.
  • Fluent in English; understanding of Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming challenges.
  • High level of motivation, work ethic, and determination to succeed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
