We continue to innovate in key areas and are extending our innovations into new geographies and high-growth adjacency markets. We are looking to add a Virtual Sales Representative (Inside Sales) to support Boston Scientific’s capital equipment business, selling service contracts for all BSC Capital Equipment. The Virtual Sales Representative will reach prospects through excellent verbal and written communication skills. This individual will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales goals by the generation of renewal calls to customers, collaborating with field sales relationships, Field Service Engineers, and existing or potential customers.
- Identify expiring service contracts and warranties to initiate the sales renewal process.
- Uncover and identify opportunities to target in order to increase the capture rate of the total capital equipment portfolio.
- Generate and create quotes for service contract renewals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers, Territory Managers, and National Accounts Managers to identify decision makers within prospect accounts and strategize sales approaches.
- Ensure executed agreements are received, processed, and documented according to company policy.
- Provide weekly updates to management on sales progress, at-risk accounts, and sales forecasts.
- Record interactions, maintain accurate records of sales opportunities and contract records, and update the company's database of prospects (Salesforce.com).
- Provide advanced (or SME) service sales support and mentorship to other team members.
- Support management in the development of new team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business plus 3+ years’ experience in sales or inside sales; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Proven ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
- Strong objection handling skills.
- Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, and time management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust negotiation and closing abilities.
- Adaptability to learn new products, programs, and processes quickly.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with both internal team members and external customers to foster collaboration, trust, and mutual respect.
- Proactively address customer concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and retention
- Always represent the company in a professional and courteous manner, upholding its values and reputation in the marketplace.
- Possess a high level of integrity and work ethic.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Experience with customer relationship management software
