Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sales Assistant to join our team. In this position you will have a range of responsibilities supporting Account Executive both internally in the office and externally interfacing directly with our customers. The person needs to be very detailed and organized, and ideally have experience with a contractor in commercial construction, an Architectural or Engineering firm. Recent college graduates interested in a career in construction sales are encouraged to apply.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment takeoffs, estimates and attend job walks with our customers to support our Account Executive with preparing proposals.
- Perform a high volume of administrative tasks required to assist the Account Executive as it relates to estimating, proposals, contracts, bookings, change orders and on going customer support.
- Work with the Account Executive to identify customer needs and provide support to establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships and ensure future sales growth.
- Help expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Serve as an additional point of contact between the Account Executive and its prospects or clients.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- High degree of self-discipline with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Experience working with electrical contractors, general contractors, consultants or end users, ability to read construction blueprints and wiring diagrams desirable.
- Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
- Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated, success driven, have strong organizational skills, a multi-tasker, reliable, self-determined and have excellent follow up skills
- Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
