Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative who is fluent in both Vietnamese and French to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to develop and expand our customer base in Southeast Asian restaurants and supermarkets across Montreal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly with experience working in a kitchen or similar environment, and a deep understanding of the types of meats and products commonly used in Southeast Asian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Southeast Asian restaurants and supermarkets.

- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Southeast Asian community.

- Understand customer needs and preferences, and provide product recommendations accordingly.

- Conduct product demonstrations and training for potential customers.

- Work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.

- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.

- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our products and services.

- Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer needs, product development, and market trends.

Requirements:

- Fluency in both Vietnamese and French is required.

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or similar role within the food industry is highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of the types of meats and products used in Southeast Asian cuisine.

- Proven experience in sales, particularly within the food supply chain or related industry, is an asset.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Willingness to participate in sales training and continuous learning opportunities.

- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel in Quebec for customer visits and events.
