About the Sales Team Lead :

MarketStar currently has an opportunity available for a Sales Team Lead with our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Sales Team Lead works directly with multiple clients and teams to co-develop and execute sales, marketing, training and business plan objectives across various statements of work. The ideal candidate is strategic, experienced, forward-thinking and personable.
Location: Salt Lake City, UT - Hybrid
What Will You Do?

  • Program Ownership: Provide management and leadership for several key programs; this includes managing client relationships, and hiring, motivating and leading sales or specialty reps connected with various programs.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews with the client(s). Lead-out on the creation of slide decks, Key KPI’s and other content to be reviewed with client.
  • Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex relationships
  • Provide insight to client and leadership and make strategic recommendations around strategies, tactics, and changes for program success and learnings.
  • Ensure continued progress of the team by proactively taking responsibility for the team’s day to day development and performance
  • Build client relationships and look for opportunities for growth.
What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • 3 or more years of management/supervisory experience or equivalent.
  • 4 or more years of indirect sales experience preferred.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Outreach IO is a plus
  • Results-oriented with the ability to motivate others and drive performance
  • Must have an adaptive management style and the ability to work at micro and macro levels
  • Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional; able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment
