Tamco Group is a USA-based manufacturer of electrical and lighting products, including lighting fixtures and controls, lamps, electrical installation products and accessories, motor control and automation, and more. Tamco is the in-house manufacturer for City Electric Supply.

TAMCO's Inside Sales Representatives play a vital role in several aspects of the company's success, including developing new leads, communicating with customers, and ensuring a smooth sales process. In addition to customer service, training, and continuing education, you will also coordinate with factories, commercial operations, production, and warehouses to identify opportunities for upselling and creating new quotes in all factories.

To be successful as an inside sales representative you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top inside sales representative should also be very competitive and a good listener.

Responsibilities:

  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on the production types, processes, and standards necessary for you and your team members to complete their daily duties.
  • Meet regularly with the Sales Directory/Customer Service Manager, Inside Sales Lead, and Product Managers to ensure the latest pricing and promotions are being supported.
  • Monitor individual and department sales goals for upselling and cold calling. Report on a monthly basis to ensure appropriate numbers of calls are being made.
  • Measure and report on the achievements of goals and potential for brand upselling as needed.
  • Analyze incoming orders for technical appropriateness and proper processing according to branch requirements.
  • Consult with the inside sales team lead to initiate improvements to the inside sales program.
  • Assist in the development of monthly collaborative monitoring schedules for providing quality knowledge and service to customers.
  • Enhance team morale by providing feedback in team meetings.
  • Liaison with the Outside Sales managers and other functional areas to develop team interdependence within TAMCO.
  • Ensure branch training success by attending customer service, production, and product meetings as needed.
  • Any other job duties as assigned for the success of this position.
  • Motivate and drive outbound relationships with customers to achieve increasing productivity.
  • Manage individual development projects for marketing and promotions with regional objectives.
  • Maintain professional and courteous communications.
  • Participate in the creation of growth objectives and continuing education.
  • Collaborate with TAMCO sales reps at sales tour presentations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or related sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM such as Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Strong listening and sales skills
  • Strong in Customer Service
  • Ability to achieve targets

  • A high level of customer satisfaction is consistently reflected in customer, supervisor, and peer feedback
