What’s the job?
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated sales professional to engage with medium and large trucking fleets, developing sales and negotiating strategic partnerships for Trucker Path’s innovative solutions. This role will lead initiatives to promote and sell our Safe Navigation, Efficient Routing, and Enhanced Productivity solutions, transitioning from transactional dealmaking to cultivating long-term, growth-focused partnerships. The position will report to the Vice President of Sales.
- Engage with medium and large trucking fleets to develop sales and negotiate strategic partnerships
- Lead initiatives to promote and sell Trucker Path’s Safe Navigation, Efficient Routing and Enhanced Productivity solutions
- Shift from transactional dealmaking to a focus on long-term, growth-centered partnerships
- Have a strong desire to drive innovation in the trucking industry
- Effectively and efficiently follow up on in-bound and out-bound leads and prospect leads yourself!
- Identify decision makers, establish relationships with key players to generate interest and close accounts.
- Actively track and manage leads/opportunities in CRM
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly quotas in a very competitive environment that offers fun, challenges and tremendous opportunity for tremendous financial reward and career growth.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth in assigned territories or accounts.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value and ROI of Trucker Path’s solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Trucker Path’s offerings as market leaders.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in the truck insurance industry, with expertise preferably in Navigation, ELD or TMS. Brokers could be considered.
- Proven sales experience (3+ years) in B2B sales, ideally in the trucking, logistics, SaaS, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of sales processes including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and KPIs in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand customer pain points and offer tailored solutions.
- A passion for the trucking industry and a desire to drive innovation and improve fleet operations.
- Experience conducting virtual product demos and presenting complex solutions to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and close deals efficiently.
- Team player mindset, with the ability to collaborate across teams (sales, marketing, product, customer success) to deliver optimal customer outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
