Who are You?

You are in the Vancouver, BC area and willing to meet in person occasion and eventually a couple of times a week. We are starting to build out a Vancouver team and you'll be the first hire!

In the beginning, it is fully remote. Being remote means you can work from anywhere as long as it is between PST to EST and has solid Wi-Fi. No one will be micro-managing you and that means managing your own schedule effective as long as you can prove to meet your goals and trust has been built. The Job Description

We are looking for an articulate and organized self-starter to join our team as a Senior Sales Executive. Given that our company is a SaaS offering, the sales cycle is a month to six months with sales opportunities from $4,000 to $150,000. You will be responsible for closing primarily outbound opportunities as well as inbound demos provided to you.

You will work diligently to set up meetings with our sales team through various channels, including mailing post cards, emailing, Linkedin, and other means through warm and cold leads. Request specific documents and product marketing materials to help make your role more effective. Continue to look for creative solutions for clients and show communication skills, like Active Listening.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the Recognize platform, its features, functionalities, and integration capabilities
  • Execute and manage outbound sales strategies
  • Manage website chat communication with prospects to drive demos
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients with 20-200 employees
  • Develop sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Negotiate sales contracts and agreements
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer feedback

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience in a SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outbound sales targets
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Curiosity and learning are second nature to you
  • Strong understanding of SaaS products and market
  • Tech-savvy with know-how around topics like ISO-27001, Single Sign On Saml 2.0, OAuth, and other enterprise technology topics
  • In the Vancouver, BC area

Benefits

  • $70,000 to $80,000 with benefits packages and commission (8-12%)
