Job Summary: As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business by identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage their own leads, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new opportunities. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify potential customers through various methods such as cold calling, networking, online resources, and research.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
Sales Activities:
- Schedule and attend onsite meetings with potential customers to present our products/services.
- Demonstrate the value of our offerings through detailed presentations and product demonstrations.
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches
Deal Closing:
- Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver proposals and contracts to clients.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Collaboration and Internal Coordination:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align strategies and deliverables.
- Provide feedback from the field to help shape product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and provide updates on the pipeline and sales activities.
Market Research and Opportunity Scoping:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and potential areas for business development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the IT space (hardware, SAAS,
- Familiarity with IT for Education, preferred
- Demonstrated ability to find and cultivate new business leads
- Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships
· Strong problem-solving skills to provide win-win solutions for the customer and Veeya
· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Work independently but also be a team player to collaborate with the rest of the sales team and other departments
- Being adaptable and open to learning new services and strategies
- Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all activities
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects
- Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
