Position Summary:
Nelson Alarm is looking for an experienced and well-organized Inside Sales and Support Representative to help drive company revenue growth and provide the necessary support to the field sales and leadership team. The successful candidate will develop revenue generation through creation of sales leads and facilitate the sales team activities, assist in maximizing sales closing ratio and provide performance snapshots as it relates to sales goals and objectives. This critical role is a fast-paced communications role, helping both current and future customers get connected with the best sales professional to meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Attend to incoming prospect calls and sales inquiries in a timely manner.
- Understand customer’s security needs-interest and provide solutions, ensuring high retention and revenue growth. Generate quotes, provide consultative support and closes the sale.
- Collaborate with the field sales team to help maximize sales force efficiency and achieve the best customer experience outcome.
- Cold call prospects and leads from internal tools and external sources.
- Create accounts in company’s system in preparation for install or service scheduling.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer feedback as a basis to develop ideas for improved sales, processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:
- Knowledge of alarm and security industry is a plus.
- Possess high energy and positive attitude over the phone.
- Excellent verbal, typing, written and customer service skills. Detail oriented is a must!
- Takes initiatives, pursues opportunities, and tackles goals and objectives established.
- Experienced in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, results driven.
- Must be very analytical and have excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
- Exceptional computer skills on a PC.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications.
- Ability to work normal business hours 8-5pm with occasional overtime as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
