Regional Territory Director Position Summary

At VintageView, our sales department plays a pivotal role in revenue generation by fostering relationships within the design and construction community. Our primary focus is on B2B channels, specifically engaging with designers, architects, and contractors. We have successfully introduced our pioneering label-forward wine racks to the international market, backed by robust support from our marketing and design teams.

The role of the Regional Territory Director is essential to VintageView's growth, involving the cultivation of new accounts and the expansion of existing ones. Our marketing team excels at promoting our brand, and it is our responsibility to provide training and garner enthusiasm for our exceptional products.

You will receive outstanding support from our Sales Coordinators and regular coaching and training from our Sales Operations Manager and VP of Global Sales. You will also collaborate closely with our industry-leading sales team, who will serve as mentors and provide invaluable support throughout your journey.

Core Responsibilities (not limited to):

· Account Management: Identify key accounts and establish a communication cadence based on account tier and sub-category to maximize account revenue

· Inbound Sales Leads: Respond promptly to all inbound sales leads, adhering to follow-up processes and procedures

· Customer Support: Handle all customer inquiries from initial contact to the sales' close and manage post-sale activities, including returns, exchanges, missing hardware, parts, or damaged shipments

· Estimates and CAD Designs: Create estimates for customers within 2 hours and submit CAD designs to the design team within the same timeframe

· Database Management: Maintain accurate customer contacts and opportunities in Salesforce, logging all activities as per the sales playbook.

· Customer Growth: Cultivate and expand the existing customer account base through daily outbound calls, follow the QBR approach for Tier 1 customers, and engage with new leads generated by the marketing team.

· Upselling: Promote higher-value products, finishes, or additional areas to maximize sales

Performance Metrics

· Close Rate: Measure the close rate of inbound sales leads

· Customer Growth: Track growth within existing customers by tier and sub-category

· Efficiency: Monitor the time taken to close estimates

· Average Revenue: Calculate the average revenue per sale

· New Business: Measure the percentage of new business

· KPIs (key performance indicators): Ensure all KPI targets are met – minimum prospecting calls, emails, and pipeline reviews are up to date

· Repeat Sales: Track the percentage of repeat sales (number of orders per account per year)

· Opportunities: Monitor new opportunities created from the existing customer base (outbound)

· Book of Business: Report year-over-year (YoY) and quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) increases

Qualifications

· Closing Ratio: Proven track record of closing warm leads with a ratio of 50% or higher

· Experience: Prefer a minimum of 5 years of B2B account management experience

· Organized and Motivated: Highly organized, motivated, and skilled in problem-solving

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, specifically Salesforce

· Multitasking: Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects while maintaining attention to detail

· Team Player: Positive attitude, team-oriented, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively to achieve team goals

· Office Availability: Willingness to be in the office 100% during the orientation period (2 weeks), up to 50% during the onboarding period (6 months), and up to 20% after the onboarding period

Compensation and Benefits

· Salary: $45,000 per year plus commission and quarterly bonus opportunities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets
- Identify and target potential customers in the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to key decision-makers
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
- Provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales process
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities

## Experience

- Proven experience in outside sales or business development
- Strong ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
- Demonstrated success in account management and customer relationship building
- Technical sales or technology sales experience is a plus
