Multinational manufacturer focused on film/sheet extrusion and converting is looking for an experienced, motivated Regional Sales Representative to drive their growth in one of their fastest growing territories. Job Description: As a Regional Sales Representative, your role involves spearheading revenue expansion and growth within a rapidly evolving territory. You will play a pivotal part in the sales team, tasked with identifying new and emerging accounts, offering customized solutions to meet customer requirements, and nurturing enduring business connections.
Essential Functions:
- Identify and target new accounts for revenue expansion and growth through robust new business development strategies.
- Analyze customer needs thoroughly to develop effective solutions and proposals.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external customers to maintain and enhance business relationships.
- Develop territory prioritization and strategic plans to achieve revenue goals and expand the company portfolio within the assigned geographical territory and accounts.
- Promote and educate customers and prospects on products to capture existing and new opportunities within core business markets.
- Create presentations, application sheets, industry articles, and product samples showcasing diverse product lines.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience.
- Qualifications: Candidates should possess 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in offering PET, OPS, Cast HIPS, or similar types of film. Sales experience within the plastics industry will also be considered, provided you have a strong technical understanding of materials and their compatibility with processes such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, thermoforming, etc.
- Proven success in growing accounts through proactive, structured account management. Understanding of the new business process and pipeline management.
- Physical Work Environment: Remote/Home Office with local travel up to 50%+.
- Territory: New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma.
- Skills: Strong team player mindset with the ability to work under own initiative and manage work time effectively.
Bilingual proficiency is a plus and opens opportunities for candidates willing to travel to Mexico and further south.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
