Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 per year + commission

The Position:
As a Business Development Manager at Eclipse Automation, you will be instrumental in identifying and securing new business opportunities for custom automated manufacturing solutions. Focused on high-potential accounts within sectors like Medical Devices, EV Transportation, and Consumer/Industrial Products, you’ll collaborate closely with team members to drive strategic growth aligned with Eclipse’s vision. This role offers the chance to work on transformative projects, establishing Eclipse as a leader in automation and innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify and qualify target accounts with high potential for custom automation solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for targeted industries, aiming to expand client relationships and secure new business.
- Lead the proposal process, utilizing Eclipse’s CRM and sales tools to deliver timely, high-quality proposals that align with customer needs.
- Represent Eclipse at industry events, showcasing our capabilities and building brand presence.
- Engage consistently with key accounts, gathering feedback to ensure satisfaction and exploring new opportunities for project advancement.
- An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales within custom automation or related industries.
- Prior experience in the Medical Device, EV Transportation, or Consumer/Industrial sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A highly motivated self-starter with CRM management and negotiation experience.
- Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada, up to 25% of the time.
