Position: Licensed Medicare Sales Agents
Location: North Carolina/Florida/Texas/South Carolina/Pennsylvania/Arizona
(Must live in and have an active insurance license in resident state)
Onsite/Remote: 100% Remote
Duration: Full Time – 40 hr/week (M-F)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + sales incentives and bonuses
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to work as Licensed Medicare Sales Agents. We specialize in Medicare and Senior products helping Medicare consumers across the country find the best plans to fit their needs. In this role, you will be selling/enrolling eligible Medicare customers into the appropriate Insurance products including but not limited to health, prescription drug, vision, and dental plans, and advising Pre-Medicare eligible recipients on their options.
Key Requirements
· Ability to pass licensing exam and Carrier certifications annually and maintain licenses in good standing
· Knowledge of Medicare health, prescription drug plan, vision, and dental products and enrollment processes. Ability to identify Medicare prospect’s needs using a needs-based selling approach, accurately answering questions, addressing any concerns, and recommending the appropriate plan
· Understand and remain compliant with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Medicare Marketing Guidelines and Peak Plans quality standards
Key Responsibilities
· Enroll Medicare members compliantly and efficiently into selected Medicare Health Insurance, prescription drug, vision, and dental plans by reading scripting verbatim. Provide accurate information to Pre-Medicare retirees regarding the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or refer them to more knowledgeable sources for additional information as required
· Answer inbound sales calls and create/execute outbound follow up calls managing a book of business. Actively listen to identify customer questions and needs, utilize probing questions when necessary.
· Meet and/or exceed monthly sales goals and service levels
· Actively manage the book of business to ensure all customer needs are met on a timely basis
· Respond to voicemails within 24 hours, internal chat requests, handle and support customer complaints and/or client escalations
· Deliver a consistently positive customer experience in a highly ethical and professional manner
· Absorb new information and have the flexibility to adapt to new processes rapidly
Qualifications
· Active resident life and health insurance license, or ability to renew the license prior to start date
· Minimum of 3 years of strong sales experience
· Minimum of 1-year experience working in contact centers role which includes outbound sales experience. (i.e. cold calling)
· Minimum of 2-years experience selling MAPD and Medicare Supplement plans
· Affordable Care Act (ACA) experience preferred
· Desire to learn, ability to self-study, and a drive to succeed
· Aptitude for understanding details of Medicare insurance and complying with all CMS regulations and any applicable state laws
· Strong written and verbal communication, sales development and rapport building skills
· Basic computer skills required
· Knowledge of contracting restrictions as related to carriers and/or previous employers. Release documents are required if previously sponsored by carriers. Release documentation is required on day 1 of training.
· Ability to successfully complete America’s Health Insurance Plan (AHIP)
