What You’ll Do 

As the Inside Sales Representative, Commercial, you will be responsible for providing inside sales support and other related services for our Metrie EL & EL customers. You will have the opportunity to be the first point of contact for our customers. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relationships and keeping current on company products, sales procedures, and market conditions.

Key Relationships: You will report directly to, Inside Sales Manager, Doors.

Location: You will be based out of Chino, California.

At a high-level, you will:

Answer customer phone calls and questions and enter orders
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
Provide price quoting to customers and coordinate with onsite production department to facilitate the movement of sale through to production.
Maintain and keep current detailed records, reports, and customer data.
Effectively represent Metrie EL & EL’s interests when dealing with customers, the community, team members, and suppliers.

You are passionate about excellent customer service
You have a strong knowledge of doors, door frames, and door hardware
You are familiar with the building industry and construction practices
You are comfortable being on the phone and working in front of a computer
You have strong attention to detail and enjoy following through on a process from start to finish
You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
You can multi-task effectively and juggle multiple deadlines at the same time
You have strong written and verbal communication skills
You are comfortable with math and fractions

It would be an added bonus if:

You have experience with commercial doors (e.g., hollow metal, RediFrame, Timely)
You have experience with Ponderosa

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The hourly range for this role starts at $29.00. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
