Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting our commercial roofing services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably in the construction or roofing industry, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with both the operations team and customers to ensure the successful completion of roofing projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Business Development:** Identify and pursue new commercial roofing sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.

- **Lead Generation:** Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and actively follow up to convert prospects into clients.

- **Client Relationship Management:** Build and nurture long-term relationships with commercial property owners, facility managers, contractors, and other key decision-makers.

- **Sales Presentations & Proposals:** Conduct on-site visits, prepare detailed proposals, and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of our roofing solutions.

- **Market Knowledge:** Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively position the company’s services.

- **Project Coordination:** Work with the operations and project management teams to ensure smooth communication and seamless transition from sales to project execution.

- **Negotiation & Closing:** Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals that meet both the client’s needs and company goals.

- **Customer Service:** Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any concerns or issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.

- **Sales Reporting:** Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions through CRM software, and provide regular sales reports to management.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in commercial roofing sales, construction sales, or a related field (3-5 years preferred).

- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation processes.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address customer needs effectively.

- Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Ability to perform on-site inspections and meet with clients as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to commercial roofing.

- Previous experience with project management or a technical background in roofing.

- Established network in the commercial construction or real estate industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
