- Responsible for all assigned areas of the project engineering schedule and project controls for REMS engineering.
- Responsible to suggest and implement improvements for the alignment and standardization of the Engineering Planning organization.
- Collaborates with employees of assigned teams.
- Works with management to implement and support global policies, regional policies, and best practices for Engineering Project Planning and Project Management/Project Coordination in support of successful execution of projects and True North Industrialization.
- Prepares/consolidates reports including consolidated E-Milestones, schedule analyses, project controls, and resource planning as required.
- Possesses a service-oriented business mentality and models this behavior. Ensures identification and recognition of individuals within the organization who exhibit service business mentality.
- Continuously monitors performance to forecast and implement any necessary changes to the Engineering project plans with visual management tools (Obeya, Digital Visual Management, Engineering Brick Wall, etc.)
- Complies with and occasionally leads alignment with all TechnipFMC Values, Safety, and Quality Policies.
- Complies with and occasionally leads and facilitates the continuous improvement of the processes and methods to increase scheduling and execution efficiency and performance w.r.t standards.
- Supports Engineering Sales and Operations Planning across subsystems as applicable.
- Responsible to assist in the development, implementation & alignment of engineering planning and scheduling systems, tools and processes across all EMS subsystems units.
- Reports on relevant performance metrics and dashboards for the Engineering Community and EMS Leadership, ensuring execution remains top priority and to identify opportunities to improve customer success globally.
- Anticipates internal and external environmental challenges with impact on the organization and recommends best practice solutions.
- Monitors project performance metrics and collects recurring Engineering issues to facilitate the escalation help chain.
- Provide expertise and support the troubleshooting of specific Planning challenges during products & projects execution.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five years’ experience in Engineering Planning, Project Scheduling, Project Planning, Operations.
- At least five years in Subsea Oil and Gas industry preferred.
- Primavera scheduling experience required.
- General Knowledge of ‘planning and monitoring’ of the various projects - EPC/EPCM/EP/FEED/ PMC Projects (Green / Brown Field) & Revamp Projects.
- Understanding and experience in Project delivery processes and principles.
- Knowledge about the LEAN Processes Preferred qualifications and experiences.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of Project Management and IEPCI techniques and standards.
- Ability to analyze trends or deviations from standards and recommend creative and unique cross functional solutions.
Work Environment
- Spends majority of time in office. Exposed to possible shop or lab hazards including high noise and heavy equipment when in those work areas.
- Frequent sitting and operating a computer. Fast paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change. Some international travel required.
