Job Overview
SitterTree is seeking a Church Sales Representative based in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area to join our team. The Church Sales Representative will sell SitterTree’s online services to new churches seeking child care providers and will provide ongoing account support to promote retention and increased sales for each group. The role of the sales team is to generate and close new business opportunities by developing and nurturing relationships with key decision makers at churches and in local church networks and act as customer success for your accounts to ensure they continue using SitterTree over time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, qualify leads, and identify target churches
- Conduct cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn messaging, and Facebook posting/messaging to generate new leads
- Set up, staff, and tear down exhibitor spaces at industry conferences to meet and collect contact information from potential new leads
- Execute in-person sales visits with decision-makers at target churches throughout territory
- Develop and nurture relationships with local church denomination-based networks throughout territory to identify and implement opportunities to share about SitterTree with churches in their network
- Complete intro calls/demos with generated leads
- Conduct phone call, email, and in-person follow-up with generated leads to develop and nurture relationships to convert users
- Establish a personal connection with contacts at your existing accounts to reduce churn and build brand loyalty, ensure continued use of SitterTree over time
- Review sales and performance stats to track progress towards goals to ensure they are being met, identify areas for growth, and ask for help/resources from manager
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Valid driver’s license and own car to drive to/from sales activities (visits, meetings, conferences)
- At least 1 year experience in sales, including cold calling, conducting demo/intro calls, exhibiting at trade shows/conferences, and conducting in-person sales visits
- Familiarity with using a CRM (ideally Hubspot) to track leads and sales activities
- Existing familiarity with and involvement in local church networks ideal, but not required
- Effective networking skills, ability to build rapport, leverage connections, establish and maintain relationships that create loyalty and go beyond a purely financial interaction
- High social battery and demonstrated stamina to complete high volume of phone calls, in-person visits, and long hours of talking at conferences and events
- Resilience and perseverance to learn from rejection, stay motivated towards goals, and remain persistent in follow-up without being pushy
- Goal oriented, driven and ambitious to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for sales visits and conferences

Pay: $21.64 per hour
