We are on the hunt for someone to assist our organization to stay on top of industry trends and end user needs, who has a bias for action and closing, and who can fill the sales pipeline with opportunities.

You are creative in finding new business, whether in new markets, or with existing customers. You possess a bias for action, while maintaining a positive and outgoing personality. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Top line revenue generation
- Maintaining thorough knowledge of our products and solutions and our markets
- Keeping up to date about innovations, trend, competitors, and market conditions
- Taking appropriate actions to increase the reach and reputation of the company
- Utilizing every available tool to identify new opportunities and clients
- Visiting clients to demonstrate products and make presentations
- Becoming skilled at establishing client needs, and to present our solution to satisfy those needs
- Retaining existing clients, build new ones, and ensure strong after sales support
- Preparing proposals
- Working closely with Inside Sales and Service
- Assisting accounting and administration personnel as needed
- Maintaining and updating contact records in our CRM
- Assist with reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Maintaining regular contact with management and Principals
- Keeping management informed of area activities and problems
- Maintaining good communication and coordination with all personnel

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a genuine and exceptional person who wants to help us become a company that is well respected for its technical knowledge and solution focus in the industries that our products can provide value in. It would be great if you had the following experience and qualifications:
- Motivated self-starter
- Able to work under pressure
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in outside sales, with some experience in the natural gas industry
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Instrumentation background
- Analyzer experience
- Electromechanical aptitude considered a strong asset
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and able to prioritize
- Ability to communicate well with clients and co-workers
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to serve both company and client needs
- The flexibility to travel in Western Canada
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
