Job Description

Airgas is looking for a Regional Floater with an active CDL B with both Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements

-Pay: $28 per hour
-Day shift, Night shift and weekend availability is required as needed to cover colleagues/business shift needs.
-When not traveling, you will be assigned a local route in the Kentwood or Wixom area.
-Any layovers required: Yes 50%-75% travel is expected within the region.
-Regional area of coverage: Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indianapolis
-Required experience: 1 year of CDL B CMV driving experience.
-When travel is expected, Airgas will pay for any hotel accommodations, flights or car rentals. All ANC trucks are day cabs, there is no expectancy for layovers in sleeper cabs.
-CO2 or any specialty gas experience is a plus but not required.
-Airgas National Carbonation specializes in CO2. All ANC trucks are CDL B rated and slip seats are utilized.

Qualifications

- At least 22 years old.

- Class B CDL minimum with at least 1 year CMV experience ' experience must be within the last 4 years.

- Hazmat and tanker endorsements required.

- No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years.

- No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years.

- No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years.

-No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for "Failure to pay child support".

- No DUI in the last 7 years.

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.

- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
