Job Description

FoodPrep Solutions has an immediate opening for a full-time route sales representative (RSR) to deliver and pickup cutlery, and small food equipment items to our restaurant and supermarket customers in the Hartford, CT area. Items for delivery do not exceed 50 lbs. At least two years of delivery driver experience is a requirement, but new hires will be trained on how to complete their specific routes. This job is open to applicants who do not have a college diploma.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 21 years old or older
  • Clean driving record
  • Have a valid driver license. Commercial driver license is not required.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Legal to work in the United States.
  • Good communications skills and ability to follow managers’ written and oral instructions.

Compensation:

  • Negotiable based on experience.

Job Type:

  • Full-Time

Work Location:

  • Begin at our staging location to pick up cutlery and food equipment items.
  • On the road to our customers’ place of business to swap out dull cutlery with sharp cutlery and pickup and/or deliver food equipment items.
  • At the end of day, return to the staging area to drop off dull cutlery, food equipment items, and pickup next day’s cutlery and food equipment items.
  • Record daily route operations on the company's mobile invoicing system
