about this team

Sales & Operations Planning designs systems, structures, and processes that align sales plans with DC inventory placement and fulfillment network utilization. As a centre of excellence for inventory flow optimization, we are the bridge between Product vision and DC execution.

The Senior Planner, Sales & Operations Planning uses their expertise in reporting and analytics to deliver world-class solutions for increasingly complex inventory management and fulfillment challenges. Supporting all global regions, this role ensure the Product vision is executed via optimized inventory placement, inventory flow between DCs/stores/guests, and proactive identification of risks and opportunities. As a lead voice on the S&OP team this role is responsible for converting analysis into a comprehensive strategy and driving cross-functional alignment & execution.

a day in the life:
  • Develop & manage business-critical DC OH Inventory models for operational forecasts (1 year view) and long range plan (5 year view), highlighting challenges and leading analysis & execution of solutions both pre and post buy
  • Proactively identify risks/opportunities, develop strategies, and lead execution for inventory placement that optimize DC inventory efficiency and productivity in alignment with sales forecasts
  • Deliver insights and drive exection with Exit, Inventory Management, Global Planning, and Global Fulfillment
  • Reporting and analytics subject matter expert and key architect for business-critical operational data needs
  • Lead operational planning and execution of special projects as required
  • Speak confidently on behalf of S&OP and Planning in cross-functional workstreams
qualifications:
  • 5+ years retail experience in a related function (inventory management, merchandising, supply chain)
  • 5+ years data analytics and reporting experience (PowerBI, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Excel)
  • University degree in business, inventory management, supply chain/logistics, or related field
  • Proven excellence in identifying and communicating business insights to cross functional partners and management

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $119,200- 156,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job- related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
