Job Description

Position Summary This is a remote work position. The primary focus of the Sales Support Specialist is to assist the sales team and help customers through every step of the sales process. This includes initiation and follow up of sale samples, creation of sales documents, managing customer delivery schedules, updating sales data for reporting purposes, research and providing excellent customer service.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively communicate customer orders/needs with intercompany departments.
  • Participate in production planning based on customer needs.
  • Create and maintain sales data and perform other data entry tasks
  • Ensure orders are processed and shipped on time, track orders, and investigate shipping delays
  • Maintain customer inventory levels and shipping schedules
  • Prepare and provide sales data and customer shipping schedule to Sales Manager monthly.
  • Release customer product based on shipping schedule.
  • Arrange deliveries per customer requirements.
  • Ensure positive customer experience from start to finish.
  • As needed, respond to customer questions and complaints, help customers select products, and resolve issues
  • Work with the sales team to improve selling techniques
  • Prepare professional sales sheets
  • Must be self-motivated and highly driven to organize and schedule their day.
  • Listen to the concerns of customers and provide solutions.
  • Work together with appropriate departments to come up with solutions.
  • Cleanliness and organization are a key component to your success, as well as the safety of yourself and others. It is required of each employee to maintain the areas they are responsible for in a clean and organized manner at all times.
