New Way Diesel, a division of the J.S. Levesque Group, is Eastern Canada’s premier distributor of John Deere, Yanmar, Kohler and ZF products. The Ontario/Manitoba team distribute power solutions for both Industrial and Marine engines and generators for all industries from our Mississauga Branch/warehouse. We also service the Atlantic, and Quebec provinces from two other Branch/warehouse locations.

Role

This is a unique opportunity to grow the Ontario and Manitoba territory with an established 100+ year-old organization. This is a permanent role that offers a competitive salary and uncapped commission structure.

Responsibilities

· Develop a growth strategy focused both on demonstrated financial gain and customer satisfaction.

· Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

· Arrange and conduct in-person meetings with prospective clients.

· Promote the company’s products/services addressing and/or predicting clients’ objectives.

· Prepare and implement a successful business plan for your territory, filling in any service gaps.

· Keep records of sales, leads and schedules in CRM, including maintaining internal forms.

· Provide feedback and after-sales support.

· Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

· Become a valuable asset to our customer base and the company.

Required Skills

· Post Secondary Diploma/Certificate.

· 3-5+ years’ of demonstrated success in a relevant sales role.

· Knowledge of the diesel engine, power transmission, and/or construction equipment industries.

· Good communication and negotiations skills.

· Ability to prospect with customers, generate sales leads.

· Self-starter and results oriented individual.

· Well structured with organization skills.

· Autonomous and problem solver.

· Positive attitude and good work ethic.

· Possession of a valid driving license and passport.

· Available to travel in Canada and USA to meet with customers and suppliers (overnight travel required).

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
