We’re looking for an amazing Virtual Business Development Manager-South Florida. You’ll be responsible for managing the business development (sales) of a defined list of travel agency accounts within a specified territory. The objective is to achieve sales goals for Princess Cruises in alignment with the company's business objectives and Core Values. This role will be responsible for accounts in the Southeast US currently defined as Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North & South Carolina, and Tennessee. The candidate MUST live in South or Central Florida to be considered. If in South Florida, Broward County preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development (Revenue Generation)
  • Agency Account Management
  • Marketing Development and Management
  • Communication (Internal, External, and Feedback)
  • Professional Development
  • Budget Management
  • Participation at trade conferences and events – often including weekends and or evenings.
  • Participation in escorting ship visits for trade partners and consumers – usually on weekends. These events usually start at 10 am and last until approximately 3pm.
  • Conducting travel advisor trainings – often late in the day after 5pm
  • Regularly scheduled/Monthly marketing communications via newsletters & webinars
  • Hosting Seminars at Sea


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, hospitality, or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership and Engagement Skills
  • 3 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience.
  • Preferred 5 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience in the travel industry or high value sales products
  • Strong in-person and virtual presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills- Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Strong computer and software literacy
  • Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize workload
  • Adaptable to change
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Well-travelled
  • Understanding of how small businesses work
  • Works well in a team
  • Willingness to take on ad-hoc projects
  • Self-directed and ability to work independently
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Travel expectation, more than 20-30%
  • Preferred locations for hire: South Florida, Broward County, or Central Florida

  • Base Salary Range: $ 64,800.00 to $ 87,500.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
