Job Description

Sales Development Representatives are responsible for working with Account Executives to locate new sales opportunities through tactics like cold calling, prospecting, emails, building mailing lists, and reengaging existing Phoenix LiDAR Customers for upgrades. The SDR is the tip of the spear for opening new sales opportunities for Phoenix LiDAR.


Requirements

  • The primary function is to promote sales activities to achieve performance goals in accordance with company goals. Driving growth, profitability, demand creation and brand awareness.


  • Work with the Account Executive to assure alignment of sales strategy, product offerings within operational capabilities, and qualify organic sales leads.


  • Identify aging leads and build follow up and re-engagement campaigns ensuring no potential opportunity is missed.


  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations.


  • Meet outbound calling or digital outreach monthly quotas to potential prospects


  • Opens new accounts by answering telephone, website chat, social media, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.


  • Work with regional VARs and company partners to increase channel sales and keep them up to date on the latest products and promotions


  • Develops accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.


  • Occasionally travel through assigned territory to call on current and prospective customers.


  • Report to sales management on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.


Qualifications


  • Ability to speak confidently and knowledgeably with customers


  • Willing to learn the intrinsic of the geospatial industry and customer’s needs.


  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to communicate the value proposition/solution offering and develop rapport with clients and brokers.


  • 2-4 years’ experience in Sales Outbound preferred.

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc.
