INSIDE SALES / CUSTOMER SERVICE

BFC is a leading manufacturer of ornamental iron and a wholesale distributor of fencing products. For more than 60 years we have been supplying materials to fence industry professionals. seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our El Cajon location. Prior sales or customer service experience is required, with preference given to candidates with a background in fencing or construction. Familiarity with ERP and/or CRM software is advantageous.

For consideration, prior Sales and/or Customer Service experience is required; experience in the fencing or construction industry is highly desirable. Knowledge relating to ornamental iron and fencing material is beneficial.

Job Description

• Preparing quotes for customers and following up.
• Handling customer problems as they arise.
• Assuring customer satisfaction.
• Working with operations staff to service customers.
• Engage with customers both in-person and via phone.
• Process order and manage sales transactions.
• Proactively initiate sales through targeted customer outreach
• Coordinate efficiently between customers and internal departments.

Job Requirements

• One year plus experience in sales/customer service.
• Fundamental math skills.
• Working well with others in an office environment.
• Team player, Time management, Able to Focus in a high pace environment.
• Will be seating for long periods of time and working on a computer.
• Picking up reams of paper, no more than 15lb.
• Filing.

Salary commensurate with experience, offering a base salary of $18-$25 per hour plus commissions. Anticipated total compensation ranges between $40k to $75K annually.
