Position Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist will be a key member in the sales team to generate leads, collect, analyze, and compile information for the Sales Team to engage with generated potential or existing customers. You will be following up and tracking results to report and recommend additional opportunities.
You will also be recommending continuous improvement solutions to the sales, marketing, and management team based upon your research in the market and our systems.
To succeed in this role, you will need to learn about our business and the customers who do business with us, have excellent analytical and research skills, relevant industry knowledge managing information and data, the ability to communicate effectively to your peers and leadership team members, and the ability to become a SME (subject matter expert) in our CRM or other applicable systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide sales and marketing support in building a pipeline of leads across the company to meet business plans and company objectives.
- Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, social media, and networking events
- Follow-up on and track the results on a weekly basis
- Track retention of customers and the sales team customer retention efforts ensuring 7 points of contact
- Analyze and report on lead generation metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices for lead generation
- Use computer software (SalesForce, Tower, etc.) to collect, compile, and review business data and customer leads
- Partner with marketing on campaigns to attract potential customers
- Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and/or market analysis to identify opportunities to increase our market share and uncover high-value revenue generation opportunities
- Create spreadsheet and relevant reports to support sales efficiencies across all branches
- Connect with management and recommend improvements based upon your findings with market and industry trends
- Assist in developing analytical tools and data tracking programs
- Collaborate and communicate with your peers, management, and leadership team members
- Daily and weekly management of SalesForce and Tower software and reporting on branch or sales completion data along with recommendations for improvement
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred
- Minimum of 2 years working in a sales, analytical, and/or project coordinator position
- Fluent in English, verbally and written (Spanish is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and excel
- CRM experience strongly preferred (SalesForce preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year in lead generation strongly preferred
- Understanding of sales process
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to get and maintain a DOT medical card to drive a company vehicle
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 15 lbs. on an occasional basis
- Work in a normal office environment at a workspace
- Standing or sitting at workspace of multiple hours per day
- Occasional ability to climb into a Ford F550 vehicle to drive a truck or conduct a ride-a-long with sales or operations team and ability to work outdoors in uneven terrain and different weather
Compensation and Benefits:
