Job description
Duraamen Engineered Products is a manufacturer and distributor of industrial coatings and decorative concrete products. We are looking for highly motivated sales professionals who love to build relationships, promote great products, and deliver world-class service. In this role, you will sell industrial coatings and decorative concrete products to contractor customers and build new relationships with prospective customers in the industry. You will have the opportunity to meet with Bay Area contractors as well as engage on calls with clients all along the west coast, including clients from Seattle, LA, Phoenix, and Las Vegas.
Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Engage with existing and potential customers to present, advocate for, and sell products/services, utilizing persuasive arguments
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Proactively reach out to potential customers through outbound communication channels
- Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure maximum satisfaction.
- Attain agreed upon sales targets and objectives within designated timeframes.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and promotional strategies.
- Continuously improve performance through feedback and other learning opportunities.
Skills
- Proven work experience as a sales representative in building materials/flooring products
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
- Skilled in relationship management and receptive to feedback.
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in selling building materials to contractors, builders, GCs, etc.
