Qualifications –
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in security or law enforcement are a plus.
- Proven experience in security or a related field, with a strong understanding of security principles and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security in a residential setting.
Un jour dans la vie de (A day in the life of) –
- Surveillance and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of community, monitoring security cameras, and identifying any suspicious activities or potential security threats.
- Access Control: Manage access points, verify the identity of individuals entering the premises, and enforce community policies regarding access and guest entry.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, including but not limited to fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches. Take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and provide assistance as needed.
- Customer Service: Interact with residents, guests, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner. Address inquiries and concerns, providing assistance and guidance when required.
- Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences. Submit timely reports to supervisors.
- Collaboration with Authorities: Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant authorities when necessary. Act as a liaison to ensure a seamless response to security issues.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of common areas, facilities, and equipment to identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
- Training and Education: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on security procedures, emergency protocols, and community policies. Share knowledge with other staff members as needed.
