Job Summary:
Southbound Motorsport is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorcycles and powersports vehicles, excellent sales skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role involves helping customers choose the right vehicle, explaining features and benefits, and closing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing information on our range of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles.
- Understand customer needs and preferences, and provide expert advice on suitable products.
- Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits, and offer test rides to qualified customers.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of current inventory, including features, specifications, and pricing.
- Follow up with potential customers to answer questions, provide additional information, and encourage purchases.
- Negotiate sales agreements and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including financing options if needed.
- Maintain the showroom and vehicle displays, ensuring they are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Stay informed about new models, industry trends, and promotional events.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical education preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or powersports industry.
- Strong knowledge and passion for motorcycles and powersports vehicles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with sales software.
- Valid driver’s license; motorcycle endorsement preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
