Overview:
This position has a dual role as a Trailer Loader and RSR. (The employee will be required to perform the job duties of a Routes Sales Representative when needed).

A RSR is responsible for delivery and restocking of milk products to retail stores and/or wholesale distribution locations.
The trailer loader role is to perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the manufacture and/or distribution of product. This position requires heavy lifting.
Responsibilities:

- Loads/unloads, stacks, and moves ingredients and finished products.
- Transfer of finished product manually or by vehicle.
- May sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units.
- May mark or put identifying labels on product loads.
- May record movement of stock in/out of work areas.
- Monitors materials, products, and equipment at each stop of process and reports irregularities to supervisor.
- Safely load, unload, and deliver products at each account.
RSR Responsibilities:
- Drive truck over established route to deliver, stock, and stage product at customer locations.
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays and deliver promotional material to customers.
- Verify shipment accuracy and saleable condition of product.
- Resolve discrepancies and customer complaints.
- Collect empty containers, rejected, or unsold merchandise for return.
- Complete daily inventory, orders, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery as required.
- Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections on truck to conform to DOT regulations and company policy and assist with routine maintenance on truck.
- Exhibit courteousness toward customers, work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, maintain neat appearance, and follow established policies and direction of management.
- Maintain vehicle and hours of service logs as required by DOT.
- Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for food grade products.
- Ability to accurately record data.
- Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights).
- Minimum age of 21 years old required.
- 6 months verifiable experience driving Class A or Class B commercial vehicle preferred.
- Experience in product delivery and customer service preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to routinely lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to constantly pull up to 270 lbs. with a pull rod while walking backwards.
- Position requires frequent lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping and kneeling.
- To walk/stand on your feet constantly during your shift.
- Ability to work extended periods in a cold, damp environment and hot environment in the summer.
- Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings.
