Breton Brewing Co. is a young and growing business seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic, and reliable Brand Ambassador in the Sydney area to join our team for the Summer. The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who wants to work in a fun but fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Taproom Manager & Director of Marketing, this part-time summer position will include the following responsibilities and duties:
- Scheduling, implementing, and administering samplings at various NSLC stores (when and if possible).
- Helping with preparing and delivering home deliveries in CBRM
- Assisting in building and maintaining relationships with licensee accounts
- Performing administration tasks as required
- Executing promotional programming
- Event coordination, activation, and execution around Cape Breton Island (such as beer festivals, golf course tastings, food pairings, etc.)
- Providing detailed updates daily to the Taproom Manager, Director of Marketing, and Sales Representative for Cape Breton.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the taproom and property
- Continued learning and education as it relates to Breton Brewing
- Guiding tours of the brewery and presenting PowerPoint presentations to tour groups
Who we’re looking for
- Reliable, outgoing, and personable with great communication skills
- Exceptional time management and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working alone and in a team environment
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Flexible with their schedule including working on evenings and weekends
- Strong knowledge of craft beer is considered an asset
- Must be able to comfortably lift 50lbs and deliver commercial kegs and cases to accounts.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle or have access to a vehicle
- Must be 19+ years of age
- Must intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year
