Customer Service & Sales Representative

We're on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Customer Service & Sales Representative in our client’s bustling call center. In this role, you'll be the voice of our company, engaging with customers over the phone to provide exceptional service, resolve issues, and seize opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located near Woodridge, IL.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with enthusiasm and professionalism, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with finesse. Make every interaction count by actively listening to customers and tailoring your responses to meet their needs.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our offerings during customer interactions. Use your persuasive skills and product knowledge to showcase the value of additional products or services that align with customers' interests and preferences.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing timely and accurate solutions to their problems. Demonstrate empathy and patience while resolving issues, ensuring that each customer feels valued and satisfied with their experience.
  • Troubleshoot customer concerns and complaints with efficiency and professionalism. Take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution, escalating complex issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, resolutions, and sales opportunities, in our CRM system. Use this data to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Follow company policies and procedures at all times, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding customer confidentiality. Uphold our standards of excellence in every interaction, representing our brand with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strive to meet or exceed sales targets, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction goals. Take pride in your performance and actively seek opportunities for self-improvement to drive personal and team success.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for building rapport and influencing others.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and CRM software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Job Details:
  • Contract to Hire, on-site
  • Must be able to work one weekend day
  • Pay is $17- $19 an hour depending on experience

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
