Do you have a passion for promoting entertainment and building relationships? We are looking for a Sales Representative to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. In this role, you will liaise with and support cross-functional internal teams (including Group Operations, Momentum, Advertising, and Promotions) to improve the entire customer experience and generate profitable visitation through the Motorcoach Program. If you are familiar with managing accounts, have a flair for client communication and understand customer behavior, we’d like to meet you. The job involves:
- Serving as the lead point of contact for all casino matters with tour operators, motorcoach companies, group leaders, and individuals
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting, trusted relationships
- Overseeing a portfolio of assigned external customers, developing new business from existing clients and actively seeking new opportunities
- Negotiating business arrangements and incentive packages to maximize visitation and profitability
- Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of all information regarding events, promotions and incentives to meet customer needs and objectives
- Forecasting and tracking key account metrics and preparing reports on account status
- Managing challenging client requests and problem solving successful resolutions as needed
- Taking a leadership role in developing, implementing and maintaining sales programs and promotions to attract new casino business
- Clearly communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Implementing sales strategies such as; trade show participation and networking, direct mail, sales presentations, sales calls, and telemarketing
- Working independently and as one team to support and achieve the goals of the Marketing Department
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Proficiency in planning and executing to influence growth with existing and new clients
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, data analysis and time management skills
- Minimum 3 years progressive experience in busing, casino player rewards or a sales environment
- Attention to detail with an ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines as required
- Availability for short and long distance travel. Occasional overnights.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- strong judgment and professionalism in dealing with both tour operators and group leaders
