Job Description

Our client, a highly reputable window and door manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Branch Sales Manager to lead their Winnipeg branch. This role is ideal for a driven, results-oriented sales professional with a background in the home building, construction, building materials, or manufacturing industries. Reporting to senior management, you will oversee a team of 8-10 direct reports, ensuring alignment with company policies, driving growth, and building sales capabilities within the Winnipeg and Manitoba markets.

Core Responsibilities

  • Market Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic market plans and budgets, aiming to meet or exceed fiscal targets.
  • Sales Leadership: Provide leadership and coaching to your sales team, enhancing relationships with new and existing customers, and expanding product offerings.
  • Salesforce Utilization: Champion the use of Salesforce for managing sales performance and driving pipeline growth.
  • Team Development: Cultivate a results-driven, collaborative culture through coaching, setting clear expectations, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to strategically position the branch for growth.
  • Networking and Relationship Building: Actively participate in industry associations and local community events to build networks and drive business development.

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Business, Business Management, or Commerce (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a sales leadership role, ideally within the home building, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Management Skills: Proven experience managing and mentoring a diverse sales team to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the home-building or construction industry is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office, Excel, and CRM software.
  • Personal Attributes: Motivational leader with strong prioritization, communication, and relationship-building skills, known for a hands-on approach, reliability, and problem-solving abilities.
