Job Description
The service BDC representative will provide elevated customer service to our service customers. The position is especially important to our business, as you will provide critical information and assist our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning about the automotive business, leading to future growth in a service advisor or sales position.
Roles/responsibilities:
- Place outbound calls and answer incoming service phone calls, advising customers on repair status, scheduling of service appointments and reminder of services due
- maintains and communicates basic knowledge of company services (labor rates, service pricing on basic services (i.e. oil changes, tire rotation, NYS inspections, warranty information, vehicle maintenance schedule, etc.)
- Provides support to the service team and management with a variety of support responsibilities (I.e. scanning, filing, using deferred services list to try and capture potential lost sales)
- Works closely with service advisors to ensure that our customers are provided with timely and thorough service for their vehicles.
- May assist with completing documentation, managing the loaner fleet, checking in on special order parts and other duties as needed
- Must be professional in appearance and attitude; organized, efficient, motivated, have a strong work ethic, a great attitude and be a team player
- Must be a great communicator- Youll have to communicate with customers via phone, email and text regarding their service visits
- Hours: 7:30am-5pm, Mon-Fri with an Saturday rotation of 8am-1pm.
- Pay $17.00-$19.00/hourly.
