Cook Solutions Group (CSG) is looking for a Full-Time Business Development Manager to join our sales team in Southern California.
Location: Southern, CA. Candidates must be located in the Southern California area.
Pay: $110,000 - $150,000 base salary a year DOE + quarterly bonuses
What you’ll do:
Summary: Responsible for driving sales revenue companywide on new company solutions; in conjunction with Technical Account Managers. Responsibilities include identifying qualified customers and prospects, matching needs with CSG solutions. Works closely with Regional Sales VP and Senior Management to ensure revenue targets are achieved and company direction matches market demand.
Duties & Responsibilities: Achievement of Revenue Goal:
- Responsible for carrying out sales campaigns and strategic company initiatives.
- Fulfills budgeted sales revenue goal and product goals.
- Provide professional looking proposals to customers and prospects for CSG Solutions, working with TAM to provide to internal Command Center quote.
- Be proactive with existing accounts and introduce additional reoccurring revenue service opportunities.
- Teamed management of day-to-day interface with customers/prospects.
- Prospect and target new business by cold calling, schedule meetings, demos, and presentations as necessary to bring in new business.
- Responsible for scheduling quarterly meetings with existing accounts and prospects and tracking in CRM.
- Responsible for working closely with Agreements Team in implementing and managing service agreements, renewals, and addendums. Including scheduling welcome calls.
- Maintains knowledge of service and product lines and reaches out to CSG resources and experts with applicable.
- In conjunction with Technical Account Manager, responsible for overall customer satisfaction and following company Sales and Operations Guidelines and Procedures. Act as liaison between customers and internal CSG teams as needed.
- Communicates important customer information to management as necessary. Escalates as needed.
- Responsible for being educated on service and product lines and to reach out to CSG resources and experts when applicable.
- Responsible for turning all proposals around within a timely manner, with exception of large projects approved by local GM.
- Provides strategic solution overview regarding CSG and partner manufacturer products and solutions.
- Works closely with all CSG departments, providing ongoing communication and collaboration between service, operations, and accounting.
- Continuously strives to improve partner/customer experiences.
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelors or master’s preferred. Four or more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of Complex solution sales Or Technical sales and/or installation experience. Must have sales experience or demonstrate ability to communicate features/benefits of technology in a complex environment utilizing exceptional communication skills. Must have or achieve/maintain detailed product knowledge. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
