Job Title: Field Sales Trainer
Location: ADS Headquarters (Virginia Beach, VA)
ADS, Inc is seeking a Field Sales Trainer who will be responsible for maintaining the standards of ADS’s talent by deploying and overseeing comprehensive training at the start of employment. Reporting to the Director of Talent Development and Acquisition, this individual will work closely with our Talent Development Managers to ensure the successful execution of learning paths. The Corporate Trainer will investigate and determine the best method for deployment of content, whether in-field, remote, classroom, or through other techniques.
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Deploy curriculum designed to increase employee effectiveness and productivity. Priority projects will include executing the development tracks for:
- Inside Sales Representatives
- Outside Sales/Business Development Representatives
- Supplier Account Manager/Category Managers
- Managers (Sales-specific and General)
- Sales Development Associates
- Set measurable outcomes to evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of methods
- Develop system to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities as trained
- Maintain a solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques
- Oversee seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and remote learning activities
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required
- Willingness to travel (estimated 50%-75%)
- 5+ years of professional experience; ADS experience preferred
- Prior professional experience in one or more of the following areas required: sales, management/leadership, or training and development
- Demonstrated success in connecting a company’s purpose and mission to train a world class sales organization
- Impressive communication and interpersonal skills – must be able to engage employees in large groups as well as individually
- Organized with a willingness to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- The desire to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Able to influence others without formal authority
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be passionate about the organization with a strong understanding of our mission and vision
- Comfortable clearly articulating feedback and identifying areas of improvement
- Must be self-directed, flexible, and demonstrate ability to remain positive in the face of challenges
- High degree of comfort in public speaking
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
