Job Description

About us

At Jigsaw, we’re on a mission to transform the way professional services and financial institutions work. We do this by helping our clients organise, visualise and use their data (think Figma or Canvas but for the ‘City’). Our clients include the world’s biggest consultancies, leading financial institutions and top law firms.

Jigsaw was founded by two seasoned entrepreneurs, Stephen and Travis. This is their second venture together; their first was acquired by a US private equity firm and went on to become a billion-dollar company and a household name in professional service firms across the world. Jigsaw is now on a growth trajectory few Series A companies achieve - putting us in the top 10% of SaaS companies globally. Today we proudly serve thousands of users from over a hundred businesses worldwide, who love our products and use them everyday.

But we’re only getting started! We have ambitious goals and we’re looking for talented people to help us achieve them.

Why join us?

We're not about the corporate grind; instead, we thrive on creativity, enthusiasm, and a touch of humour to make magic happen.

We hire people with high ownership and a bias for action. Then we trust and empower them to do their best work.

About the role

We’re looking for our first marketer at Jigsaw. This is a hands on role with a blank canvas for someone self-sufficient, creative and data driven that wants to test new marketing approaches and measure the impact of these across different customer verticals. Although a B2B SaaS platform for the professional services sector, you’ll find the playbook is more B2B2C to drive user adoption and engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to get in at the very start of brand building and have a huge impact on the story of a rapidly growing startup. The nature of this role will evolve over time as the marketing function matures, so you need to be adaptable and always learning.

What you'll do

  • Set up an annual industry events calendar and aggregate feedback and attributed leads from each event so you can keep track of which we should have a presence at in future. You’ll handle the planning of these to make sure we have the right people, resources and messaging for each event. Beyond expanding our reach and brand awareness these should be generating high quality leads.

  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing activities to attract, nurture and convert prospects for the sales team against a monthly/quarterly revenue target. Initially this may lean heavily towards social media (LinkedIn especially) and cold email outreach sequences.

  • Plan and execute upsell and cross sell campaigns to increase revenue from existing customers against a monthly/quarterly target.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to assess the performance of marketing campaigns, conduct A/B testing, and optimize strategies for maximum impact. In particular you’ll experiment with whether performance marketing is successful for specific customer personas.

  • Regularly report on key performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement and increased ROI.

  • Produce and post regular, high quality content across a range of channels. Also, actively engaging in professional services industry related content.

  • Manage posts and replies across organic social media channels to enhance audience engagement and build an active community.

  • Manage and activate campaigns with reference customers, for example joint public statements and press releases.

  • Use analytics tools to review and optimize marketing touch points, channels and customer journeys.

  • Evaluate and suggest new opportunities and approaches to reach wider audiences.

  • Track competitor activity to keep abreast of their marketing and services offering.

  • Collaborate closely with the Co-Founders, design, product success, sales, customer success and revenue operations teams to make sure our customer touchpoints remain consistent and on-brand.

What you bring

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role at a B2B or B2B2C product-led company. Bonus points if this is within SaaS.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a similarly relevant field.

  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that complemented the sales strategy.

  • Prior knowledge of using tools like LinkedIn and HubSpot CRM.

  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and principles: A data-driven approach is crucial to measure the impact of our campaigns and guide our marketing decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft engaging stories that connect with our audiences.

  • Impeccable attention to detail.

  • Strong time management skills and a hands-on attitude.

  • A high level of creativity and innovation. You are adaptable and curious. It doesn’t phase you to continual test, learn and iterate.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative: As our first marketing hire, you'll need to be a self-starter who can hit the ground running and take the lead on projects.

  • Eager to learn and grow with our team: We're looking for someone who is keen to develop their skills, learn from their peers, and grow alongside our startup.

Compensation Range: $70K - $100K
