Job Description:
As a Sales Representative at Oxford Freight, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and expanding our client base in the competitive freight and logistics industry. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, fostering relationships with existing clients, and delivering top-notch customer service. Your efforts will directly impact our company's success and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Identify and prospect potential clients in the freight and logistics sector.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold calls, emails, and networking.
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Understand clients' needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospects and clients.
Develop competitive pricing proposals and negotiate terms and contracts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of services.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions using CRM software.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the freight or logistics industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics terminology and processes (an asset).
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
