We are looking for an experienced and passionate Enterprise Account Executive, with experience in the public sector, to join the Nakisa team. In this role you will cultivate new relationships, drive demand and new sales opportunities, and secure net new logos for our Workforce Planning, IWMS and Accounting product portfolios. The role will focus on building and managing relationships with government clients at the federal, provincial/state and local levels.

Responsibilities include overseeing the entire sales cycle, from initial identification of needs to proposal, negotiation, and successful closure. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of networking and possess strong self-motivation, drive, and a goal-oriented mindset. They should demonstrate exceptional relationship-building skills and creativity in generating interest among Fortune 1000 companies.

You will receive support from the Nakisa team, including solutions experts, marketing professionals, and professional services, leveraging their expertise to address customer business needs effectively. At Nakisa, we operate as one cohesive team with a unified target.

What you'll be doing:

  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end process, including research, identification, and contact with outbound prospects, culminating in closing deals with clients.
  • Demonstrate capability and competence in fostering strong working relationships with C-level executives of customer organizations.
  • Maintain expertise in the industry and possess an in-depth understanding of the company's underlying technology and product range.
  • Devise and execute innovative pipeline growth activities across various verticals, orchestrating tailored account strategies.
  • Conduct thorough prospect research to identify and comprehend their unique business challenges, crafting influential business cases and customized solutions accordingly.
  • Utilize the latest technology stack available to the team, including tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, SalesFlow, SalesLoft, and 6Sense, to reinforce pipeline development and relationship building.
  • Hold yourself accountable for achieving and surpassing annual sales quotas by establishing enduring client relationships.
  • Actively contribute to the team's efforts, fostering creativity and collaboration to achieve collective goals.
  • Harness creativity by leveraging video and social media platforms to expand your network and grow business opportunities.

What you need to bring:

  • University degree (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling enterprise software to business buyers in SaaS finance technology, specifically working with government clients, with a proven track record of outstanding quota attainment.
  • Possess strategic business and financial acumen, capable of identifying business challenges and delivering tailored, thoughtful business and technical solutions to clients, resulting in the acquisition of net new business.
  • Embrace a culture of positivity and high performance, demonstrating a willingness to roll up your sleeves and take initiative to accomplish tasks. At Nakisa, attention to detail and proactive execution are paramount.
  • Have a passion for technology and the ability to comprehend complex finance solutions, effectively communicating their value to non-technical business buyers across diverse business contexts.
  • Display true out-of-the-box and strategic thinking, leveraging industry expertise to devise creative solutions for client needs.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages such as French, Spanish, or German are considered a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
