Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service HVAC Manager to join our team with 10+ years of experience in the HVAC industry and management roles. As a Service HVAC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should have experience servicing and installing equipment such as furnaces, A/Cs, boilers (hot, steam & combi), Small-Duct High-Velocity systems, tankless water heaters, ductless mini splits, and more. The Service Manager role requires experience in organizing training for technicians, managing technicians, and assisting with quoting. The applicant must also be skilled in steam and hot water heating and have experience managing technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of service technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality work
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing various HVAC systems
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Provide estimates for homeowners and commercial opportunities, communicate with homeowners to educate and convert estimates into jobs, and promote preventative maintenance plans to build a customer base.
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary parts and supplies for shop and trucks.
- Monitor organization of trucks and shop and make sure the vehicles are working correctly
- Advise technicians to ensure proper steps were taken on service/installations, coordinate training for technicians, and work with the installation manager to coordinate material and equipment orders for jobs.
- Able to provide support for on-call technicians after hours and weekends as needed
- Meet with inspectors on job sites and meet with office staff regularly to discuss job scheduling, estimated time to complete jobs, labor hours, and material used
- have extensive mechanical and boiler knowledge; be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Qualifications:
The requirements for this role include EPA Universal Certification and knowledge of code compliances, a valid driver's license, passing a pre-employment drug screen and a physical and background check, ability to use hand tools and lift up to 75 lbs, knowledge of plumbing and electrical, excellent customer service skills, and sales skills. A Mechanical and boiler license is preferred. This position requires at least 10 years of experience in the field, actively working in the HVAC industry, and management experience.

This is a full-time job with a pay range of $62,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year. The schedule includes 8-10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, on-call, and weekends as needed. The work location is in person.
