Business Development Manager
Electric Connector Technology (ECT) is a connectivity solutions provider and is one of the largest RF cable/connector manufacturers in China.
With an ongoing global expansion, we presently have opportunities available in the US market. ECT specializes in the production of RF connectors, high-speed cable assemblies, antennas, shield cans, and automotive connectors (Fakra), catering to a diverse clientele worldwide.
Location: Bay Area, California
We seek a seasoned Business Development Manager with experience in the Automotive / Data Center Business to become a valuable addition to our team. The preferred candidate will possess a background in managing key global accounts, demonstrating a successful history in cultivating, and sustaining productive relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Experienced in the Auto/Data Center Business and can develop and execute account strategies for key global customers with a focus on revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Understand the customer's business and technical requirements and collaborate with internal teams to provide customized solutions that meet their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the customer's organization.
- Manage the overall customer relationship, including contract negotiations, regular business reviews, and issue resolution.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for assigned accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the industry, including market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
- Leverage personal network and industry connections to enhance business development and sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business sales, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Business Development Manager or similar role experience in the Auto/Data Center related Business field.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of managing and growing revenue streams from key global customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across functional teams.
- Good understanding of Auto/ AI industry trends and technologies.
- Understanding of Auto Cable/Connectors and familiarity with High-Speed Cables application is preferred.
- Strong Networks and relationships with key players such as Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Meta, Google etc. in the industries to boost business development and sales potential are a PLUS desired.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
