Job Description
- Conduct acceptance testing and design validation testing of complex air-cooled and conduction cooled ruggedized systems which includes the ability to program and operate thermal chambers and vibration tables.
- Possess strong troubleshooting/debug skills and the ability to resolve issues during production testing, which includes using standard debug tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and multi-meters.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute all phases of product test development and deployment.
- Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues or making recommendations.
- Highly motivated with the ability to make decisions and solve problems with minimum supervision.
- Meet daily and help manage Aged Work-In-Progress (WIP).
- Follow and enforce all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines.
- Work as a team member evaluating trend data and drive root cause corrective action when needed.
- Performing basic hardware instillation/removal tasks using screwdrivers or other small hand tools as may be required before and after testing.
- High School Diploma / GED
- 3+ years’ experience testing electronic circuit card assemblies and ruggedized systems. 1+ years’ experience reading technical documents and following procedures for testing electronic circuit card assemblies and ruggedized systems.
- Knowledge of Six-Sigma or Statistical Process Controls (SPC) training or equivalent training.
- Ability to interpret schematics, component datasheets, and product manuals.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Understanding of high-speed bus structures and power supply operational theory.
