Job Title: Customer Service/Sales Representative

We are an award-winning processor of quality fresh meat, smoked and prepared meats and deli meats. All of our award-winning products are made in-house at our processing facilities in Oshawa and our new, state of the art, meat processing plant in Etobicoke that embrace a combination of both modern techniques and trends with old-world traditions and tastes.

Job Overview:

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by prospecting, nurturing leads, and closing deals with potential clients. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prospect and qualify leads through various channels including cold calling, networking, and referrals.

· Conduct thorough research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

· Present product/service offerings to clients, addressing their specific requirements and demonstrating value propositions effectively.

· Negotiate and close sales deals while adhering to company pricing and sales policies.

· Collaborate with the various departments to ensure awareness of the incentives and promotions being offered.

· Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics consistently.

· Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software.

· Provide regular feedback to the management team regarding market trends, customer needs, and competitor insights.

· Ability to drive and conduct visits to customers 1 – 2 days a week.

· Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate individual as deemed necessary

· Keep up-to-date records on sales calls and customer contacts in a timely manner in the format required

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

· Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar role.

· Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

· Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

· Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

· Previous experience in the food or meat industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
