Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and coordinate with adjacent accounting and administrative staff. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing and proofing work, delegation of tasks as appropriate, and following up to verify programs are being maintained to satisfaction.

- Investigate, research, and report regulatory changes that may impact any accounting or business function, reporting any changes or recommendations to leadership.

- Account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy for each company database as assigned.

- Ensure proper communication and coordination when processing tasks for payroll, fringes,

benefits, or employee impacting information.

- Coordinate with adjacent sales, operations, and leadership to ensure completeness of invoices, purchase orders, change orders, BOLs release logs, production tracker etc.

- Conduct internal audits / reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies as appropriate.

- Process accounts payable and/or accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner as assigned.

- Review, record, and file reoccurring taxes, whether local, state, federal etc. (ex. SUTA).

- Prepare and submit reports as requested or required. Ensure compliance with accounting

standards and policies. If ever unsure about anything, ask first before acting.

- Maintain standards of professionalism and courtesy when communicating with internal and external customers and staff.

-Other duties as assigned in support of administrative, accounting and operational support.

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
- Proven experience in accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred experience in Foundation accounting software and strong understanding of construction jobs/contracts (understanding of purchase orders, change orders, job contracts, invoicing AR & AP).
